Hollie Legee-Cressman is a Community Nutrition Educator with the Maine SNAP-Ed program. In this role, she helps people learn to shop, cook, and eat healthy on a budget through nutrition education classes for children and adults. Prior to joining the Healthy Oxford Hills team, she spent fifteen years working with children, both as a nanny and in childcare and preschool settings, and also worked as a health/nutrition manager for a local Head Start program. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of New Hampshire, with a focus on nutrition and wellness, and a dual major in EcoGastronomy. She is currently working toward a Master of Public Health degree from the University of New England. She is a member of the Oxford County Wellness Collaborative and has sat on the healthy food and community engagement workgroups. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the beauty of Maine with her husband, including hiking, biking, kayaking, gardening, and camping.
